Best Practices to Avoid Email Scams
1.) Don’t trust an email message, just because it comes from someone that you work with. The account could have been
compromised, or they were tricked into clicking on a scam- if in doubt, hover over the email name to validate that it’s from who it says it is.
2.) Does the email address look right?
3.) Does the grammar in the message make sense?
4.) Do not click on any links.
5.) Do they refer to your stores name or is it more vague such as valued customer?
6.) If in doubt call the sender.
