King Family Stores Enhances Efficiency and Growth with EDGEPoS

King Family Stores, a well-established independent retail business, has been operating since 1997. Initially starting as independent retailers, they joined Londis in 2005 and spent nine years with the group before transitioning to Blakemore in 2014. Today, they operate six stores—five convenience stores and one forecourt. Their focus has always been on strong profitability and efficiency, ensuring that each store performs to its full potential.

This store includes King’s Kitchen, an in-house food-to-go section, a fully stocked off-license, and a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. The store operates in a dynamic environment, attracting a mix of local shoppers, commuters, and families, making operational efficiency and customer service essential. King Family Stores had been operating with a previous system that was becoming increasingly outdated. A key driver for the switch was their forecourt site, which needs a system that integrated
