Henderson Technology is a major provider of retail solutions. We supply EPoS (Electronic Point of Sale Systems) for retail stores and other solutions to the retail industry.

Making Retail Run Better

EDGEPoS is our answer to the modern retailer’s need for a clever and scalable EPoS system. Traditionally, disjointed systems and cumbersome integration with third party services made managing multi-channel retail sites difficult.

Back office systems were complicated and clunky. Stock control was time consuming and nothing seemed to join up.

We developed a solution that would bring all of these things together. Something that if the retail outlets grew or diversified, there would be no need to bolt on yet another expensive and unwieldy system.

Installation Coordinators

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Installation Manager at Henderson Technology, our Installation Coordinator will assist all customers of Henderson Technology with their installation requirements to ensure that they experience a seamless and professional installation.

This rewarding opportunity will involve field based surveys, EDGEPoS system installations, liaising with outside contractors and other departments within both the Henderson Group and other wholesale companies across the UK and ROI. In addition, the successful candidate will also provide support to new EDGEPoS stores and our existing customers at their sites. Please note, this role will involve extensive travel to Mainland GB and ROI.

What qualifications/skills do I need to apply?

Essential
•    Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
•    Experience working with Windows Operating systems.
•    Experience of working with networks and Network Configuration (including IP4)
•    Possess a current (valid) clean driving licence.

Desirable
•    3rd level qualification in IT or at least 2 years relevant IT experience
•    Practical experience of store operations and procedures.
•    Experience with EPoS systems.
•    Experience of the EDGEPoS system.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively within a team and use their own initiative. Excellent communication, organisational and prioritising skills are essential. The successful candidate will have proven customer care skills also.

What’s on offer?

This is a full time position working 36.5 hours per week on a 5 out of 7 days contract. This role would require the successful candidate to commit to be available out of office hours on an on-call rota basis. Flexibility will be expected in order to meet the requirements of the post, as some installations can take place overnight. All essential training for this role will be supplied.  A vehicle suitable for the role will be supplied.
