Henderson Technology is a major provider of retail solutions. We supply EPoS (Electronic Point of Sale Systems) for retail stores and other solutions to the retail industry.

Making Retail Run Better

EDGEPoS is our answer to the modern retailer’s need for a clever and scalable EPoS system. Traditionally, disjointed systems and cumbersome integration with third party services made managing multi-channel retail sites difficult.

Back office systems were complicated and clunky. Stock control was time consuming and nothing seemed to join up.

We developed a solution that would bring all of these things together. Something that if the retail outlets grew or diversified, there would be no need to bolt on yet another expensive and unwieldy system.

Project Co-Ordinator – Henderson Technology Ltd – Job ID 1061

The opportunity:

Following continuous growth and success across our retail technology business, our team in Henderson Technology have a brand-new Project Coordinator position now open for applications.

The successful applicant for this rewarding opportunity will focus on assisting with project coordination and technical pre-sales aiding our team in delivering key projects and improving product knowledge across different departments belonging to Henderson Technology.

        So what will I be doing?

Key responsibilities (not limited to):

          Project Coordination

• To provide effective coordination of Henderson Technology projects, pre-sales assistance and internal training for new product/solution implementations.
• Aid with GAP Analysis between customer needs and system capability.
• To monitor ongoing projects ensuring key milestones and deadlines are being achieved.
• With successful implementation of a project.  Aid with project handover and support teams via the process of training/supporting documentation.

            Customer Services & Support

• Provide technical advice and support to the Henderson Technology Sales Team.
• Ensure all team members are trained on all aspects of new projects and solutions that have been implemented.
• Provide effective and engaging product demonstrations to new and existing customers.
• Coordinate any technical follow up or documentation from demonstrations.
• Customer service and communication are key aspects of this role.
• Keeping up to date with developments within retail technology and share findings.

         What do I need to be successful in this role?

Essential

The successful applicant will be a real team player who possesses GCSE Maths & English at grade C (or equivalent) and experience of working within an IT focused role. In addition, our Project Coordinator will be experienced in managing workloads to time scales, be competent in the use of Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Office Solutions and have strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Desirable

A 3rd level qualification in IT or Business Management, experience of Henderson Technology products and/or EDGEPoS, experience of liaising with customers & suppliers, and familiar with software installation and networking would be advantageous.

Hours of work will be 8:45am – 4:45pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:45pm – 3:45pm on Friday. Flexibility is required with regards to hours of work.
