Located on Dromore Road in Omagh, Classic Service Station reopened its doors in 2015 following a £1million investment under SPAR and fuel brand, GO. The revamp saw the forecourt and convenience site grow from 1500 sq ft to 5000 sq ft, incorporating a 40 person seating area with modern food to go facilities.
Jonathan McCullagh of Omagh’s Classic Service Station advises that the EDGEPoS system is a tremendous advantage for store owners.

When asked “What do you feel contributed to you winning these awards?”, Jonathan answered
“The store has been here for over 20 years and we would like to thank our customers for their continued support over the years. We put a big emphasis on the fact that we are a local family run business, with customer service and great value at the heart of everything we do.
We are very proud of our state of the art store and forecourt, and EDGEPoS fits in perfectly with this – as an Award Winning state of the art EPOS Software, it allows me to manage and keep control of the key factors of my business on a daily basis. I have grown shop sales on an average of 7% year on year and EDGEPoS has given me the data and tools to drive this increase forward.”
When reopening the store after the revamp, Jonathan comments
“The whole family worked closely with Henderson Group Wholesale and Retail Managers; and also with Henderson Technology Installation and Training Staff to ensure the process ran smoothly and that my staff were trained properly on EDGEPoS.”
Jonathan hopes to implement the new EDGEPoS Self-Checkout in 2019 in his store as a further offering to his dedicated customers at Classic Service Station.
